WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Clarity in understanding what neural tension is. Finish the course understanding what neural tension is, how to recognize, assess, and address it.

  • Understanding in why your clients might not be responding to typical mobility work. Before taking this course, you could be doing everything right but still not seeing the progress you’d expect from thoughtful mobility work.

  • Information, assessments, interventions for 7 major peripheral nerves. Finish the course knowing 7 of the major peripheral nerves: sciatic, peroneal, tibial, femoral, radial, median, and ulnar nerves.

  • Confidence in recognizing neural tension and recognizing when it is necessary to refer out. After this course, you’ll quickly recognize when neural tension is presenting with your clients and whether you can address it appropriately within the scope of your practice.

  • Helpful, take home resources to support your ongoing mastery of the material. Included in the course are: a robust, easily accessible video library, printable reference cards and notes, unlimited, lifetime replay access to the course, and a post-course Q&A opportunity.

  • Bonus Pilates applications of neural glides. Neural glides can be found or incorporated into already familiar moves for various movement modalities.

Course Details

Function

In order to learn a new skillset, it is vital to understand the underlying mechanisms and function. We start the course covering neuroscience basics specific to neural tension in order for your depth of understanding and ability to understand neural tension.

Assessment

Next, we look at each individual peripheral nerve and learn how to assess whether or not there might be neural tension involved. After doing the appropriate glides, you’ll reassess to see the impact the glide has made.

You’ll also finish this course understand how to work within the scope of your practice and understanding when it is necessary to refer out.

Application

For each peripheral nerve we look at, you’ll learn a glide plus ways to modify it appropriately to your client. For Pilates instructors, you’ll also receive bonus content of Pilates applications of neural glides.

After doing typical mobility work, are you not seeing expected increases in flexibility and range of motion? Do you or your clients experience discomfort after typical mobility work? Neural tension could be what is holding you back!

This information has long been missing from movement professionals’ knowledge bank and it’s time to learn of its importance and potential in maximizing your results!

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

I feel like I have invested well  in this course and am looking forward to more…I have already applied these concepts into my classes and as tools to help my clients and myself be my own best healer.

- Arice

I really love Kate's deep research when she presents a course. I learn so much from her, and she is always open to any questions we have. I was looking to add more tools in my toolbox when I have a student who may not be progressing like I feel like they should. I felt like I received more than I was expecting. I loved the slides and the videos, which helped me work on the glides with myself before presenting them to a student. The way Kate presented this material made me feel comfortable to teach my students.
